By now we should have a manifesto developed with input from a good number of young people, but we won't be happy with input from a good number of young people, we want thousands of you to have your say and tell us what you think! We're already committed to dropping any policy which the majority of Scotland's young people don't like...
Using all the responses we receive from our inital consultation, Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYPs) will put together the first official draft of our 'manifesto for young people'. When we're finished, we'll get our MSYPs to approve it to go out to the next stage of consultation - which will hopefully be absolutely massive!
As part of the process of producing our youth manifesto, the SYP's members will be meeting in their Subject Committees at Strathclyde Fire and Rescue HQ, Hamilton.
To enable the SYP to put together its initial draft of its 'Manifesto for Young People' we'll be running our intial consultation with young people here on the website during our "Subject Committee Web Weeks", as well as in offline surveys and events.
The SYP will be running a "speak:easy" consultation event in partnership with Aberdeen's Youth Action Committee, to allow Aberdeen young people to tell us what they think.
